Oh, those were all WAY funnier, but I thought this one was "corporate." And "did his check clear" is only funny to those who did NOT have to deal with Fast Eddie's support questions.

I don't know if my favorite anecdote is "please don't call our customers cocksuckers", "fix the Internet" or "did his check clear". Every one of them makes me laugh.

That's the real irony. The real racists are the ones who insist that everyone with a particular skin tone should be this monolithic people who all think the same things, vote the same way and have the same mannerisms. You know, the people who would slam Tiger Woods and Bill Cosby for not being "black enough"? If racism it's alive, it's because of yahoos like that.

You forgot to mention how you engaged in cannibalism the night before by consuming what you thought to be the most delicious dish at the Malaysian restaurant: peppered cod. My lady. =)

Vegan dog food brings up the same conundrum. Do the "animal lovers" praise it for not killing animals or condemn it for not meeting a dog's omnivorous needs? The internal inconsistency is astounding.

No, I'm bought into the whole coconut curry thing. Once I tasted chocolate with chili pepper, I knew that relegating it to Hershey bars was a woefully inadequate use of cacao.

Aside from acknowledging this insightful blog entry, I'd just like to add that someone has incredible tracking skills of the uses of and references to their prior work. And for the record, I think locale is also a factor in influencing neighbors to think homogenously - per the pack leader(s). That's my elementary, yet neutral, contribution to the expanse discussion. Regardless, I'm always right, so take all of my statements as fact, people.
